Furnish confirmed the planned date with
Vegas Review Journal.
“We don't feel the need to take an
extra step legally,” Furnish said. “But since we're committed
for life, we feel it's really important to take that step, and take

John was asked if he planned to marry Furnish.
“Oh yeah, on first day possible,”
John responded. “David and I are a very high-profile gay couple,
probably the most high-profile gay couple in the world. You have to
set an example. If you say, 'Listen guys this is our rights.' Can
you imagine 20 years ago, we'd have never thought this possible.
Furnish promised a low-key celebration:
“But with the kids, everything is different. I think what we'll do
is go to a registry office in England in May, and take the boys with
us, and a couple of witnesses.”
