Gay rights activist Peter LaBarbera,
president of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH), has
accused Dan Cathy, CEO of Chick-fil-A, of selling out opponents of
gay marriage.
Last week, Cathy told The Atlanta
Journal-Constitution that he regretted dragging Chick-fil-A into
the marriage debate and that he won't be weighing in on the subject
anymore.

“For him now to say, 'I'm going to
pull back,' seems to be just a complete sell out,” LaBarbera
said during an appearance on Focal Point, Christian
conservative Bryan Fischer's radio show.
He added that gay rights activists are
playing hardball, while opponents are playing tee-ball “and we're
getting wiped out and every time a leader goes silent, you know, he's
hurting the cause.”
“Now I'm wondering, did Dan Cathy do
more harm than good in this whole thing?” LaBarbera asked. (The
