Gay rights activist Peter LaBarbera, president of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH), has accused Dan Cathy, CEO of Chick-fil-A, of selling out opponents of gay marriage.

Last week, Cathy told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he regretted dragging Chick-fil-A into the marriage debate and that he won't be weighing in on the subject anymore.

“For him now to say, 'I'm going to pull back,' seems to be just a complete sell out,” LaBarbera said during an appearance on Focal Point, Christian conservative Bryan Fischer's radio show.

He added that gay rights activists are playing hardball, while opponents are playing tee-ball “and we're getting wiped out and every time a leader goes silent, you know, he's hurting the cause.”

“Now I'm wondering, did Dan Cathy do more harm than good in this whole thing?” LaBarbera asked. (The video is embedded on this page. Visit our video library for more videos.)
