George Michael is set to release
Symphonica, his first album in seven years, on March 18.
Symphonica was recorded during
Michael's 2011-2012 Symphonica tour of the UK and Europe.
Michael made history during the tour as the first contemporary pop
artist to play Paris' Palais Garnier Opera House.
The first single from the album will be
the dramatic ballad Let Her Down Easy, which originally
appeared on the 1993 album Symphony or Damn, the third studio
album by singer-songwriter Terrence Trent D'Arby.
Earlier this month, Michael released
the video for Let Her Down Easy.
The video was directed by Vaughan
Arnell, a British music video director whose credits include
Michael's 1998 video for Outside plus videos for Robbie
Williams, The Spice Girls and One Direction.
