Televangelist Pat Robertson on Thursday
called on gays to repent, grouping being gay with murdering and
stealing.
Robertson, the host of CBN's the 700
Club, added his thoughts after a segment on how Charles Manson's
grandson traded in a life of drugs for talking to kids “about how
to avoid the mistakes he made.”
Robertson credited God for the change.
“God knows your sin,” Robertson
told viewers. “Some of you have been involved in
homosexuality, some of you have had an abortion, some of you have
actually committed murder, you have lied, you have been disobedient
to your parents, you have stolen money from your business, and God
says if you repent and come to me I'll wash the slate clean. You can
