A West Hollywood man's birthday
surprise turned out to be a marriage proposal.
In a video posted earlier this week,
actor Lucas Bane pulls out all the stops to create a memorable
marriage proposal for his boyfriend, David Devora.
Lucas has gathered the couple's friends
for a surprise birthday party for David.
“Happy birthday,” they all shout as
a blindfolded David arrives across the street from the couple's
apartment, where a “Happy B-Day David!” sign hangs from the lit
balcony.
Actress Briana Evigan (Step Up 2:
The Streets) and a troupe of dancers stomp to Pitbull's Timber
on the sidewalk.
Then Lucas appears on the balcony and
the music switches to Bruno Mars' Marry You.
He holds up a sign that says, “Our
lives will be perfect, if we spend them together,” then removes the
birthday sign to reveal “Will U Marry Me” in lights. (The video
