British Olympic diver Tom Daley, who
made a splash this week when he revealed he's in love with a man, is
dating screenwriter Dustin Lance Black.
Daley made his announcement in a
YouTube video released earlier this week.
UK tabloid The Sun reported on
the romance with the headline: “Tom's love is Oscar-wining gay
activist..and 20 years older.”
“He's besotted with Dustin,” an
unnamed source told the paper. “They love each other and aren't
concerned what anyone says about age difference.”
“Dustin is very proud of Tom for
making such a powerful statement about his sexuality.”
“They are officially in a long term
relationship and are talking about having a future together.”
Photographs of Daley, 19, and Black,
39, surfaced shortly after Daley denied rumors that he's gay,
including an
October photo of the pair getting coffee in Hollywood.
The couple met over the summer at
London's Soho hotel
Black, who won an Academy Award for the
2008 drama Milk, is also a prominent LGBT rights activist.
