The Talk's Sara Gilbert on
Tuesday weighed in on a pair of recent celebrity coming outs.
Actress Maria Bello discussed how she
explained her romantic relationship with another woman to her
12-year-old son in a The New York Times article.
“Mom, love is love, whatever you
are,” he told her in response.

British Olympic diver Tom Daley told
viewers in a YouTube video that he's dating another man.
“Come spring this year, my life changed massively when I met
someone and it made me feel so happy, so safe and everything just
feels great,” Daley said. “And that someone is a guy.”
Daley added that he still “fancies”
girls.

Gilbert, who is engaged to marry singer
Linda Perry, discussed the implications of coming out for public
figures.
“I feel there's definitely pressure
if you're in the media, because I think then people know, 'Well it's
going to be in the tabloids, if I don't say it. Or if I go on a talk
show, somebody's going to ask me something.' So I definitely think
there's a pressure for somebody like that,” Gilbert said Tuesday on
