RuPaul, host of cabler Logo's RuPau's Drag Race, says doing drag is his job.

Cabler OWN caught up with RuPaul in a Where Are They Now? profile.

“I got into drag not because I love drag,” RuPaul said. “In fact, if I never did drag again, honestly, I really wouldn't care. It's not my passion. The only time you'll ever see me in drag is when I'm what? – getting paid. It is my job.”

RuPaul said that doing drag has taught him that “you're born naked and the rest is drag. Everybody is in drag.”

The 52-year-old RuPaul also discussed his 19-year relationship with his partner, Georges LeBar, a rancher who lives on 50 acres in South Dakota and Wyoming.

“I've been with this man for the past 19 years,” RuPaul said. “I met Georges on the dance floor at Limelight in New York City, the disco. He was on the dance floor dancing like a maniac. And I had to go over and say, 'What are you going through?'”

“He's devoted to me, I'm devoted to him. And that's the end of the story,” RuPaul said. (The video is embedded on this page. Visit our video library for more videos.)
