The women of the CBS daytime talk show The Talk on Thursday wore purple to help celebrate Spirit Day.

The 4th annual Spirit Day supports efforts to combat the bullying of LGBT teens.

“We want to let everyone know why we are all dressed in purple today,” co-host Julie Chen told viewers. “Today is Spirit Day, recognizing and supporting gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender youth, who are often the victims of bullying. Show your support by spreading the word. Bullying must stop.”

Dressed in purple around the table were co-hosts Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler and guest Robin Quivers, co-host of The Howard Stern Show. (The video is embedded on this page. Visit our video library for more videos.)
