Macklemore's Same Love is “for homos and Jesus hates
gays,” a listener to South Bend, Indiana radio station U93 told one
of its DJs.
After the listener called in several complaints against the song,
DJ Artimis decided to record a conversation with the caller, named
Craig, and post the video on his Facebook page.

“What's your name?” Artimis asked.
“Oh, you don't worry about my name. You don't need to know it.
I'm not going to be listening to your station anymore promoting your
homosexuals and your gay tendencies,” the caller responded.
“So, tell me why you don't like the song, sir?”
“Because I'm a Christian. I'm a God-fearing man and I know that
those gays don't have no place in America.”
“But you understand that God accepts all people, right?”
“No, God doesn't love all people. He loves the people that live
by the book, the way it's supposed to be.”
“Have you listened to this song more than once?” Artimis
asked.
“No, I listened to it half way and I turned it off when my son
was trying to show it to me ...”
“Your son is obviously trying to get you out of, like, the
lifestyle that you live hating people because of who they love.”
“He doesn't know no better. He's not old enough to understand.
As a parent, I'm supposed to protect him,” Craig added.
