Fox News Radio's Todd Starnes has suggested that President Barack Obama is secretly gay following statements the president made in support of gay athletes.

At a press conference on Friday, Obama was asked whether he supports a boycott of the Winter Olympics in Sochi over a recently approved Russian law which prohibits the public promotion of gay rights in a venue where minors might be present.

Obama said that he did “not think it's appropriate to boycott the Olympics.”

“Nobody is more offended than me by some of the anti-gay and -lesbian legislation that you've been seeing in Russia. But as I said just this week, I've spoken out against that not just with respect to Russia but a number of other countries where we continue to do work with them but we have a strong disagreement on this issue.”

In a series of tweets, Starnes accused the president of discriminating against heterosexual athletes and suggested that he might be admitting to being gay.

“I just don't understand why President Obama must judge our Olympic athletes by who they love,” Starnes messaged to his nearly 35,000 followers.

“Obama: 'Nobody's more offended than me by some of the anti-gay and lesbian legislation.' What are you trying to say, sir?”

Starnes has previously suggested that Obama is in a relationship with Reggie Love, the president's former body man (personal assistant).

“Obama: 'I've got a mandate.' Reggie Love?” he tweeted last November.

“So it turns out Reggie Love was with Obama with weekend – while Mrs. Obama was in Aspen,” Starnes messaged in February.

In March, he added: “Obama is at Andrews Air Force Base whacking balls with his former body man, Reggie Love.”
