Conspiracy theorist Jerome Corsi argues
that gay marriage will lead to the legalization of snuff films and
the end of freedom.
Corsi is best known for promoting the
claim that President Barack Obama is not a U.S. citizen. In a recent
WND.com article, he claimed that Obama hid his former “gay life”
to become president.

“If sex becomes disassociated with a
Biblical purpose, then all the abuses we saw in paganism are about to
return,” Corsi
said in a recent speech posted online. “Because what is to
prevent us from saying, 'Well, how about pedophilia?' And the ACLU
has been in court arguing for pedophilia. What about bestiality?
What about snuff films? Let's kill a few people because it's
sexually exciting. Where is the limit?”
“And [a] society that proceeds down
this path, constitutionally protects it, will so abuse and turn the
Constitution inside out that there will no longer be any basis for
freedom in the United States.”
Progressive radio host David Pakman
disagreed with Corsi.
“Let's assume for a second that
marriage equality did lead to, for example, interest in legalizing
snuff films. Consider all the negative things that Christianity has
led to over the years. Christianity has never been banned, because
it would be wrong to ban a religion, right? … Even if it led to an
interest in that, it would still not justify discrimination against
gay people,” Pakman said on his show. (The video is embedded on
