Queen guitarist Brian May says the band
is talking about another pairing with Adam Lambert, this time for
television.
Last year, Lambert fronted for the
British band in a series of European shows.
“We are talking about doing something
with Adam, probably for TV,” May
told MTV UK. “He's an amazing artist and a very nice guy. We
keep in touch and have a good friendship.”
“We're not talking about touring
yet,” he added. “But we are talking about doing an event.”
May and drummer Roger Taylor formed the
band Smile, which frontman Freddie Mercury altered to Queen when he
joined. Mercury died in 1991 of complications due to AIDS.
Lambert performed a rendition of the
Queen B-side single Dragon Attack during this weekend's
headline performance at Pittsburgh's Pride in the Street, a warm up
act to Pittsburgh's Gay Pride Parade and Festival.
