Scott Thorson, the former lover of Liberace, has reiterated his claim that he had an affair with Michael Jackson, the King of Pop.

Thorson appeared on ABC's The View to promote Behind the Candelabra, the biopic based on a book written by Thorson which stars Michael Douglas as Liberace and Matt Damon as Thorson.

“Liberace introduced me to Michael,” Thorson said. “Michael and I had a relationship. … A love affair.”

“While you were with Liberace?” Barbara Walters asked.

“No, no. About '82 is when I broke up with Liberace. After that.”

Citing Thorson's run ins with the law and history with drugs, Sherri Shepherd asked Thorson whether the public should believe his claims.

Thorson said that he should be believed because he's passed two lie detector tests.

“Well, I think so. You know, Michael Jackson. You know, I took two polygraph tests; I passed those. It's no secret of my relationship with Liberace,” he said. (The video is embedded on this page. Visit our video library for more videos.)
