Gay porn star Wilfried Knight has died.
He was 39.

reported that the death has been confirmed by Matthew Rush, a friend
and colleague in the business.
Knight began his career as an exclusive
model for Lucas Entertainment.
In a blog post at its website, the
studio wrote: “We need to first say that this is one of the last
things we'd ever want to write. … [A]s a whole this is one of the
saddest days in our office.”
“News came in to Lucas Entertainment
on Monday morning that Wilfried had taken his own life. Yesterday we
frantically scrambled to prove this wrong and sadly came up with
confirmation that the worst was true.”
“Wilfried Knight was a very special
person, a genuine, caring, smart and grounded individual whose
personality even out-shined his incredible outward beauty.”
Knight's passing comes just weeks after
his American husband Jerry Enriquez, 46, took his own life.
“He gave me the best 8, almost 9
years of my life,” Knight, who grew up in Champagne, France, wrote
in an emotional blog
post. “And this amazing guy committed suicide by hanging last
week, after fighting for so long for us to stay together.”
The couple was struggling to stay
together in Canada, the only country where a binational gay couple
can marry and apply for a visa based on a spousal relationship.
After Enriquez lost his job in Vancouver, the couple faced being
split apart.
