Hire Andy Richter and George Takei to
out you as gay to your family this holiday season.
Tuesday's episode of Conan
featured an advertisement for Richter's holiday services.
“Coming out to your family during the
holidays is never easy,” Richter says in the comedic ad. “It can
be a delicate process, and sometimes you need a helpful nudge.
That's where I come in.”
“For just $99.95 I'll come to your
holiday dinner and out you to your family. … And for just an
additional $19.95, I'll bring my friend Deon Cole to really hammer
home the point.”
Cole tells a family gathered around the
dinner table: “Kyle here is gay. G.A.Y. Gay. Period. And if any
of you motherfuckers give him any kind of shit about it, I'm going to
come here and I'm going to fuck your shit up!”
“Let Kyle be gay, dammit,” a
tearful Cole adds. “Let him be gay.”
For an additional $9.95, the Basic
Cable Band will sing a coming out gay tune. And adding movie star
Takei costs only $1.95 more.
“Congratulations,” a cheerful Takei
says as he shakes Kyle's hand, “and welcome to the wonderful world
of gay.”
Then, turning to the family, he adds:
“And if any of you motherfuckers give him shit about it, I am going
