Dost, who collectively make up the band fun, have joined the NOH8
Campaign, which raises awareness and
funds for gay rights causes, including ending California's 2008
voter-approved gay marriage ban, Proposition 8.
The campaign's Adam
Bouska and his partner Jeff Parshley photograph celebrities,
politicians, professional athletes and everyday folks with their
mouths duct taped and the campaign's familiar “NOH8” slogan often
written on one cheek.
Ruess, Antonoff and
Dost poised for individual pictures as well as a group photograph.
Fun performed at
several concerts to benefit campaigns supporting passage of gay
marriage at the ballot box in Maine, Washington state and Maryland.
Antonoff
also recorded an ad for the Human Rights Campaign's (HRC)
American's for Marriage Equality campaign.
