Manila Luzon, a 28-year-old contestant
on the third season of RuPaul's Drag Race, coaches an aspiring
drag queen on Friday's episode of MTV's self-improvement reality
series MADE #DreamBigger.
On the reality show about making dreams
come true, 20-year-old Richard Figueroa meets his idol, drag
superstar Manila Luzon, who returns to compete as one of the 12 past
Drag Race contestants set to appear October 22 in RuPaul's
All Stars Drag Race.
Figueroa says he no longer wants to be
the shy guy that he was in high school and is ready to unleash his
alter ego, Cassandra Fuego.
“During his journey, he must find out
if big hair and high hells will give him the confidence he needs to
strut his stuff in front of thousands of people,” the show's
description reads.
Luzon, real name Karl Westerberg,
recently lost his boyfriend Antoine Ashley. Ashley competed on the
second season of RuPaul's Drag Race under the name Sahara
Davenport. According to his family, he
died of heart failure at the age of 27.
While MTV's MADE focused on high
school teens, #DreamBigger includes college students and young
adults trying to make it in the real world.
