Christian conservative group One
Million Moms believes The New Normal promotes “moral decay
in public airways.”
The NBC sitcom from Glee creator
Ryan Murphy features a gay couple
(played by Andrew Rannells and Justin Bartha) trying to start a
family and the surrogate mother (Georgia King) who comes to their
aid.
One Million Moms, the organization
which made national headlines earlier this year when it called on
JCPenney to fire comedian Ellen DeGeneres as the department store's
spokesperson because she's openly gay, first targeted the sitcom in
July, calling on advertisers to avoid the show.

In an appearance Monday on American
Family Association (AFA) radio's Focal Point, One Million
Mom's Monica Cole said
the show attacks “Christian values, conservative values, the
traditional family,” and added that “the moral decay in public
airways is continuing.” (The video is embedded on this page.
