Jennifer Lopez and Peter Paige are
developing a lesbian-themed hour-long drama for cabler ABC Family.
According to Deadline
Hollywood, Lopez and Paige will executive produce the yet-to-be
named series. Lopez will also appear on the show as a guest star.
The drama will center on a lesbian
couple who are coping with raising three children when a wayward
teenage girl moves in. One of the women is a police officer, the
other a private school teacher. Together they are raising a
biological son and adopted teen twins of opposite sexes.
ABC Family also broadcasts Pretty
Little Liars, which co-stars Shay Mitchell as openly lesbian teen
Emily Fields.
