Rocker Adam Lambert is calling on his
fans to vote for him in the O Music Awards Fan Army FTW category.
The 30-year-old Lambert is a nominee in
the category which attempts to answer which band has the most devoted
fans.
Lambert's Glamberts are competing
against 2NE1's Blackjacks, 30 Seconds to Mars' Echelon, Girls
Generation's SONES, Mindless Behavior's Team Mindless, Mumford &
Sons' Team Mumford & Sons, One Directions' The Directioners,
Super Junior's ELF, Taylor Swift's Taylor Nation and Swifties, The
Wanted's TWFanmily and Tokio Hotel's Aliens.
Glamberts are described by O Music
Awards as “a glitter-stained, socially conscious tribe who all
share one, single shining goal: Crushing any opponent in their
prince's path.”
“It's just magic when he sings,”
said a female Glambert in a video posted at the
O Music Awards website.
“Adam just feels the music,” said
another.
“I have seen Adam 74 times,” a
mature female Glambert said. “Adam announced, 'Oh, I'm going on
tour.' And I said, 'Oh, okay, I'm going on tour as well.'”
“He really gave me that extra ump to
just tell my mom that I was a homosexual,” a male Glambert said.
In a video posted at the
O Music Awards blog, Lambert simply stated: “If there is one
thing I can say to my fans out there. One thing: work.”
The winner will be announced on
Wednesday, June 17th.
