Texas Governor Rick Perry has mocked
Rick Santorum's stance on gay marriage.
The 62-year-old Perry spoke for the GOP
Party at Saturday night's Gridiron Dinner in Washington, The
Wall Street Journal reported. The annual journalist dinner
roasts prominent politicians from both sides of the aisle.
In his speech, Perry poked fun at his
unsuccessful bid to win the GOP presidential nomination.
On being the Republican front-runner:
“It was the three most exhilarating hours of my life.”
“Here's the hardest part for me,”
he added. “Weakest Republican field in history and they kicked my

Rick Santorum thinks gay marriage leads to,” he joked, referring to
Santorum's 2003 comments comparing gay unions to “man on dog.”
Perry also poked fun at Mitt Romney,
whose net worth is roughly $200 million, saying that standing next to
him on debate stages “I kept waiting for him to say, 'Pardon me, do
you have any Grey Poupon?'”
A campaign ad in which Perry laments
the end of “Don't Ask, Don't Tell” inspired numerous
parodies on the Internet.
