Singer Adam Lambert has told Ellen DeGeneres that his relationship with Sauli Koskinen is doing fine after a much publicized fight in Finland.

Lambert and Koskinen were arrested last month outside Helsinki gay club Don't Tell Mama. According to various reports, the couple quarreled on the street after being tossed out of the club. They were questioned by authorities and later released.

During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Lambert, who is set to release his second studio album Trespassing on March 20th, said he was committed to making his relationship work.

“What happened was we had too much to drink, we screwed up, there was no injuries, no violence,” Lambert said. “It was more of just childish, foolish messiness.”

“I was a little irresponsible. And what I think I learned from the experience was that I owe it to myself, my loved ones and to my fans to be a little more adult and pull it together.”

“I think the universe always sends you little wake up calls,” he said, adding that his New Year's resolution was to cut back on the partying. (The video is embedded in the right panel of this page. Visit our video library for more videos.)
