Parodies of Rick Perry's anti-gay ad
are overtaking the Internet.
Perry's campaign on Tuesday released a
decidedly anti-gay ad titled Strong
in early caucus state Iowa. In the ad, Perry linked faith to
anti-gay sentiment and lamented that there's something “wrong”
with a country where gay and bisexual troops can serve openly but
children cannot openly celebrate Christmas.
The Texas Governor's hard and abrupt
shift to the right has turned into Internet comedy gold.
The first parody to surface was on
Wednesday by Andy Cobb of The Partisans on The Second City Network.
In the spoof, Cobb
describes Perry as blessed with “special a-hole privileges.”
In a Funny or Die video starring Joel
Spence as Perry and written by Lauren Palmigiano, Perry says, “I'm
not afraid to admit I'm an asshole and a drunk.”
“You know, there's something wrong in
this country when gays can serve openly in the military. Did you
know they can serve coffee at a Starbucks? Or frozen yogurt at a
Pinkberry? Gays are allowed to work anywhere they want. All the
while our children are forced to recognize that not everyone
celebrates Christmas. Because gays want to fuck Santa, right in his
jolly old butt. And that's wrong. Because a gay Santa will just
bring a sack of dildos down your chimney.”
“As president I will fight against
our gay soldiers that want to bareback Santa right in front of our
children.” (The video is embedded in the right panel of this page.

In
yet another video, Jesus Christ says there is something wrong
with America when Rick Perry is openly running for president.
