Janet Jackson, Adam Lambert, Dr. Oz and
Pauley Perrette were among the celebrities tweeting support for World
AIDS Day on Thursday.
“On this World AIDS Day, never ever
forget our friends who died and fought courageously against their
oppressors in their darkest hour,” gay rights activist David Mixner
tweeted.
Singer Adam Lambert messaged to his
more than 1.2 million followers, “Let's recognize World AIDS Day
and RT 'We are going to win this fight,'” a reference to President

struggle & all who support & work for a cure,” Pauley
Perrette tweeted.
Dr. Oz said his thoughts were with
those affected by the disease. “Together we can achieve a world
where this disease no longer exists.”
