Broadway and television star Christoper
Sieber married longtime partner Kevin Burrows on Thanksgiving Day in
New York City, all things Broadway website Broadway.com
reported.
Sieber, 42, is best known for playing
single dad Kevin Burke on the ABC sitcom Two of Kind. In the
show, Sieber played a single dad to two scheming 12-year-old
daughters, played by Mary Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen. He later won
wide acclaim playing Lord Farquaad in the Broadway production of
Shrek the Musical. He currently plays flamboyant drag queen
Albin in the national tour of Harvey Fierstein's musical La Cage
aux Folles opposite George Hamilton.
Just after New York legalized gay
marriage in July, Sieber told Broadway.com that the was prepared to
tie the knot.
“I think we will [marry], but I'm not
sure when. We've already committed to each other. We have rings,
but you know, hey, let's get some benefits! Those are things
everyone should have,” he said.
Sieber, a two-time Tony Award nominee,
first announced he and Burrows had married on his Facebook page.
