Darren Criss will replace Daniel
Radcliffe in the Broadway musical How To Succeed in Business
Without Really Trying, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Criss, who is best known for playing
out-and-proud Blaine Anderson on the Fox musical-comedy Glee,
will play corporate ladder-climbing J. Pierrepont Finch during a
three-week stint after Radcliffe exits the role in January.
Criss is expected to miss an episode
and a half of season three of Glee to make his Broadway debut.
“[T]hat would be really cool,”
Criss recently told TV Guide before the role had been
confirmed. “That's certainly a wonderful role and a great show,
and it would certainly be exciting to be a part of it.”
The production also stars Tony-winner
John Laroquette in the role of J.B. Biggley and Tammy Blanchard as
Hedy La Rue.
The 24-year-old actor has found stardom
romancing gay student Kurt Hummel (played by Chris Colfer) on Glee.

Before Glee success, Criss
garnered attention starring in the Harry Potter parody A Very
Potter Musical, which he co-wrote while attending the University
of Michigan in 2009. So, following in Radcliffe's footsteps is
becoming a bit of a habit for Criss.
Criss can also be seen in Glee: The
3D Concert Movie, which opens in theaters on August 12.
